i have a poodle and she keeps wheezing. It kind of sounds like she has something stuck in her throat. She has been doing this for about 5 months off and on. She first started doing it while we were on vacation and a friend that was keeping her took her to the vet, but they couldn't find anything wrong. Any ideas on what it could be or if there is any over the counter medicine we could give her?

It could be allergies, an infection or it could be a structural problem. I would definitely take your poodle to the vet for investigation & treatment!
