Question

is it common for boxers to go blind or get cataracts

my boxers (diesel) eyes are drooping tonight and one seems to have a blue tint is this normal or common

This is common in all breeds but it does happen more in some than in others. Cataracts will not cause the eye to droop and you won't see a tint across the whole eye.

It sounds like you are dealing with something else.

I would go ahead and see the vet with her for an exam. Ocular health is very important.

I don't think that it's an emergency and that you need to see the vet tonight. But I do think that you need to see the vet with him tomorrow for an ocular (of the eye) exam.
