I have a 6 month Old English Bulldogge how has developed a pronounced limp on his left front leg. Nothing in the leg hurts when we touch it, but it seems to be in his elbow. It has been a week or so like this. Could it be growing pains? Should we try and rest him and see if it gets better?

Optional Information:
Age: <1; Male; Breed: Olde English Bulldogge

Already Tried:
trying to be gentle and rest him.

This could be HOD or panosteitis.
You can read about owner experiences with this here

You should have your vet check the dog in case there is an injury.
He could also have a congenital or hereditary elbow problem or an injury to the elbow and you should have that checked. You can read about elbow disease here

I'd say before doing any home treatment x-rays and a vet exam to figure out just what is sore is what you need to do.
Hope this helps you!
