My seven year old lab is lethargic, not eating, and shaking. He just started this tonight. He is not coughing or sneezing. His eyes are watery. I put his blanket on him, and he seems to like that and may even make him stop shaking as bad (may be wishful thinking). He is up to date on all his shots--including kennel cough. He has always been in good health, until now. Is there anything I can do to make him feel better, until we can see the vet in the morning? Also, he usually sleeps in my ten year old daughter's room at night. Is this a good idea tonight? Could this be the dog flu? We have a second dog that was coughing and sneezing for about one week. She didn't exhibit any other symptoms, so I didn't take her to the vet. Could she of had the dog flu and passed it on to the older dog? Thank you for any help you can give.
