i have been working with a naturopath since october for my collie who had chronic renal failure thw animal has improved significantly but i feel i need to take it to another level the dr. had mentioned in the beginning that there may come a time when she could not help any more should i try another naturopath or another kind of doctor

Optional Information:
Age: 6; Male; Breed: blue merle collie

This dog was sho0t up with sreriods 5 time before he was a year old. Hince we have been on a natural diet and homeopathy most of his leife. The first kidney failure was 2 years ago after intaking some purina dog chow that was toxic to him. He was then put on pitcairns kiney diet for a year and a half before any problems surfaced. At the first of this year he was uremic with climbing creatine and climbing bun levels for four months and a traditional vet treated him with intravenous fluids, for 4 months and kept him stabilized as i administered homepathic treatments which stabilzed him but it seemed the high protein diet and additional supplements prescribed by the naturopath really speeded up the process in just 2 months i am not seeing any more progress the last month

Reply to Tammy Falkner's Post: the only conventional treatment was intravenous fluids and i administered subcu fluids for about two months. The dog is cuurently on the following diet 9cups of rice
     6 eggs
     2 1/2 of hamburger meat
natural calcium thru parsley & salmon   catfood
supplements include transfer factor, renal sarcode, renatrate, spleen, folic acid, pmg, vit.B & C. Because of the vet shooting him up with steroids when he was young he had a weaken immune system since the age of 2 we have used pitcains guide for diet and treatment. The dogd first had renal failure about 2 years ago after consuming some purina dog chow which was toxic to him due to food allergies. No signs of renal problems for almost two year i had him on pitcairns kidney diet. Then chronic kidney failure occured at the first of this year. Uremic with climbing bun and creatine levels for 4 months each month the vet would administer fluids to flush. I researched found some products renetrate, renal sarcode on my own which stabilized the dog started working with naturopath in october
