I have a 7 year old dachshund female. She has been fine ...

I have a 7 year old dachshund female. She has been fine ... her normal self until 15 minutes after dinner tonight. She;s usually high strung ... growls alot ... normal pain in the ass. But she ran under the loveseat tonight, something she only does when she's scared. She is allowing us to pick her up, turn her over(neither of which is near normal for her), she's lethargic and hot. I do not have a rectal thermometer and can't afford an unnecessary trip to the vet. HELP!!

So far, she ambulates without problem. She did drink willingly, but her demenor is sooooo off. She IS suceptible to UTI's, but I've never seen one hit her so fast.

We do have multiple stairs for our doxies to get up and down from the furniture.

Thanks so much for your quick response!!!!
