My 5 year old male, neutered, Catahoula has been having bloody diarhea for 6 weeks, lost 9 pounds, I've tried everything the vet suggests and he's stumped. Please help, all labs are normal.

Lab tests-WNL Immodium 2 tabs BID Flagyl for 10 days Vitamin K 3 tabs daily for a week Prednisone 20mg BID Kaoectrol prn Doxicyclin as directed

What is he currently eating? I would suggest that you switch him over to a bland diet of ONLY boiled chicken and white rice and see if it helps. You can even blenderize it to make it even easier to process. Most dogs do well with it.
