I think I have an emergency situation with my female cat. Can you help me? She is 3 years of age and has been acting sedated with a painful belly. Her stomach area appears to be swollen at first check yesterday and now this morning her belly is much more rigid and firm. When I touch or feel or press lightly in the stomach area she is in pain. Her belly appears to feel hot to the touch. Any suggestions on what I might be dealing with here?

Optional Information:
Breed: American Standard Cat

Already Tried:
With her belly area being swollen and seemed to be itching I have only given her 25mg capsule of Benadryl yesterday evening. That is it up till this point.
