My eight month old Vizsla seems to have an eye problem. For about the past two weeks, his eyes have been producing more pus than normal. It hasn't seemed to be a problem, as we are quite diligent about wiping it away, until the last day or so. Now, he has problems keeping his eye all the way open and often squints. He also pulls away when we attempt to look at it or touch it. Further, the bottom, inside, red part of his eye seems to be swollen, engulfing more of his eye than normal. Finally, it seems as though the typically white part of his eye is pinkish. What could this possibly be? Pinkeye? Is it dangerous? Is there anything we can do? Should we go see our vet? Thanks for any help you can give.
