i have a 10 month old shih tzu whom threw up pretty ...

i have a 10 month old shih tzu whom threw up pretty much everything in his stomach last night. the only thing different that he did yesterday was i gave him a detour pill to not eat poop. he is now not eating anything even treats although he has drank some water. what should i do?

With dogs, you don't usually have to worry too much if they don't eat for 24 hours or so. For today, you can change him over to a diet of only boiled chicken and white rice (no bones, no skin) and see if it helps. Most dogs like this mixture and it helps to settle the stomach.

Then see your vet tomorrow if this does not resolve.
