Question

A Hairless Patch of Fur.....

Sent to Pet Experts August 30, 2005 5:02 p.m.

My cat (3 years old now), whom I adopted 2 1/2 years ago is in great health. He is active and still plays like a kitten. He is up to date on all of his shots and I just did blood work on him with negative results. Yesterday, I noticed a hairless patch of fur (about the size of quarter) on his back. I applied neosporin on the patch. I am worried and concerned. Should a visit to the vet be needed or am I overacting. He eats and drinks well, his stool seems normal, and is very active. Please let me know?????
