Question

LISTLESS PET

Sent to Pet Experts July 30, 2005 5:05 a.m.

MY DOG HAS BEEN LISTLESS AND HAS BEEN NAWING AT A SPOT ON HER BREAST BONE FOR ABOUT A WEEK OFF AND ON. THE VET SAYS IT IS AN ALLERGY AND GAVE HER A SHOT. ALSO HE GAVE HER MEDS. TO TAKE THE MEDS HAVE MADE HER VOMIT AND WE CHANGED THEM YESTERDAY AND SHE STILL VOMITED. WHEN SHE WENT FOR THE VISIT ON THURS. THE VET SAID SHE HAD LOST 3 LBS. SINCE HER VISIT IN MAY. SHE IS A SCHNAUZER SEVEN YEARS OLD AND WEIGHED ABOUT 20 LBS. I FED HER HAMBURG AND RICE YESTERDAY AND SHE WAS NOT ABLE TO KEEP IT DOWN. SHE HAS BEEN DRINKING LOTS OF WATER LAST NIGHT WE GAVE HER SOME ICE CREAM AND SHE SEEMED TO KEEP IT DOWN ALLRIGHT. DO YOU THINK SHE SHOULD BE TESTED FOR DIABETIS.
