Dislocated hip

Sent to Pet Experts July 27 10:51 AM

My mixed lab & shephard dislocated her hip on July 10, 2005 she was hit by a pick-up truck,I went on the internet today and found out that the Vet wraped it wrong, they decided to take off the bandage, I just found out it was wraped wrong, do you think if we get it wraped the right way now we could avoid surgery?

Would she be doing all this movement if it was still dislocated?

She looks like she is moving normally, but could she be running the way she is if it was still a problem?

Probably not. If you are seeing a full range of motion, the hip probably set well and she will regain normal function.

Thank you very much, as you could see I am very upset, but you have releived my fears, I am taking her to the same vet today and I am going to show them the copy of the proper way the leg should have been bandaged and ask why it was not done that way! I sound like a mother! No reply necessary.
Thanks again,
Evie & Tootsie
