Hello, a red, circular pimple like mark recently appeared on my dog's outer lip and now it looks as if its getting bigger. What can this be? Thank you

The most likely thing this is what is called 'puppy acne' and its a staph infection that usually causes this.
Serve food and water from Steel or Glass (porcelain) dishes only. Clean after EACH use. Never re-offer moist food which has been left out in room temp. Make a fresh batch when feeding.
Clean area with betadine or peroxide. Apply neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment.
Do not try to pop the pimple as it will spread the problem.
If you see no improvement in a couple of days I'd see the vet as you may need oral antibiotics.
Hope this helps you!

Reply to Nancy Holmes's Post: Thank you for the answer. I will accept and honor the deposit, however, not sure how I can clean or applying the spot with peroxide or neosporin. The "pimple" is right on the bottom of her lip and anything applied will most likely go in her mouth or get licked off. Won't this be harmful to her?

Use the peroxide on a paper towel or kleenex to hit just that spot with the disinfecting fluid.
Neosporin is pretty safe and you just dab on a little over the acne spot. The dog won't be getting a lot of it and it shouldn't cause any problems.
You can also ask the vet about giving you oral antibiotics for this but usually its just topically treated.
If this spreads or just won't clear up for sure you should see the vet.
