Eye problem

3 week old kitten that has one eye which is slightly goopy & tends to stick shut. Eye shows no sign of discoloration and kitten is otherwise healthy. I have, for human use,Vigamox & Ciloxan. Are either of these safe for cats and if not what would you recommend?
