I came home to my pug shaking and panting, she acts like she has to poo, she yelps trying too and nothing is coming out but little squirts of water substance. The vet in my area is not open until morning and her ears are very warm. her nose is also warm. she wont eat at all.this is not her behavior. please help

Because you are seeing pain in her rear, constipation and diarrhea, she could have an intestinal blockage, particularly if she is a chewer or a dog who eats bones and other objects that are not digestible.

If you can, you need to find an after hours vet to diagnose this and treat it.

If you suspect that there is an intestinal obstruction, there is nothing that you can do for her at home. You can use a warm water bottle on her tummy to ease any pain that might be coming with this.

Normally for pain I recommend using an aspirin but aspirin has a blood thinning quality so, if surgery is necessary, you don't want the dog to have thin blood. Make sense?
