I HAVE A LONGHAIRED CHIHUAHUA AND SHE IS ONLY ABOUT 9 MONTHS, AND ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO SHE WENT INTO HEAT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND WE CAUGHT HER AND MY MALE CHIHUAHUA AND HE WAS STUCK INSIDE HER. I HAVE NOTICED SOME CHANGE IN HER APETITE, (MORE AGGRESSIVE ABOUT HER FOOD) AND HER NIPPLES HAVE GOTTEN A LITTLE BIT BIGGER AND HAVE HARD LUMPS UNDER THEM. ARE THESE SIGNS?
I ALSO HEARD THAT IT IS NOT GOOD FOR A DOG TO GET PREGNANT HER 1ST TIME GOING INTO HEAT.. IS THIS TRUE?I PLAN ON TAKING HER TO THE VET IN A WEEK OR TWO.
ANOTHER THING, IS THAT WHEN MY MALE CHIHUAHUA WAS STUCK INSIDE OF HER THE SECOND TIME SHE PULLED AWAY REALLY FAST AND NOW IT SEEMS LIKE MY MALE IS REALLY HURT. HE DOESNT WANT TO EAT AND HES BEEN SHAKING ALOT AND JUST LYES AROUND THE HOUSE ALL DAY AND DOESNT WANT ANYONE TO TOUCH HIM. SHOULD I TAKE HIM TO THE VET? THANK YOU!
