HEAT AND PREGNANT PERIOD FOR A YORKIE

I HAVE A 9 MONTHS OLD YORKIE FEMALE, SHE GOT THE FIRST HEAT THE SECOND WEEK OF AUGUST, SHE COULD NOT GET THE SURGERY BECAUSE SHE WAS SICK,YESTERDAY MY FRIEND GAVE ME HIS 2 YR OLD YORKIE MALE AND IS NOT FIXED, IS IT POSSIBLE THAT SHE CAN GET PREGNANT? HOW LONG LASTS THE HEAT PERIOD?, SHE HAS AN HERNIA CLOSE TO HER LEFT LEG WILL BE THIS A PROBLEM IF SHE GOT PREGNANT, SHE IS NOT A PURE YORKIE WHICH ARE THE POSSIBILITIES THAT HER PUPPIES OR HER HAD PROBLEMS GIVING BIRTH.

She should be totally out of heat now and it should not be possible for her to get bred.
You should spay her as the inguinal hernia will be a real problem if she gets pregnant. It can also impact her being able to deliver the pups as the hernia is a tear in the muscle wall of the abdomen.
