Dear friend,

Here is a site on orphaned baby rabbits. However, make sure they are abandoned before you take them in because the mommy rabbit only returns to the nest once a day or night to feed them and then leaves again so you might not see her.

If they are not orphans their best chance is with mom.

Please let me know how they are doing and if yiou have more questions. I am happy to help in any way possible.

Very sincerely,

Terri

since the cat had them there is no way I have any idea where they came from. I can assure you if I had any idea where the mother is I would not have spent most of my morning trying to find out how to care for them. Now how can they be doing well when Iam not sure how to feed them. I think they can get by on food not milk. But I don't think they are ready for food from the store that you buy for grown bubbies. Now we live on a farm. We have horse feed cow feed things from the garden. Clover, a wide varity of greens. So if you can't give me some real help here just say so

Hello Mogg. If the rabbits are fully furred, eyes open, and hopping around, then they should be close to ready for rabbit food. I would offer them some rabbit pellets from a feed store or pet shop. Do not offer them any vegetables, as vegtables need to be introduced VERY slowly, and usually around 6 months of age, not this young.

If they refuse the pellets, you can put them on kitten milk, but make sure to get the one that does NOT have Colostrum in it. Give it to them via a syringe, as much as they will take, every 5-6 hours.

Hope this helps!
