i have a year old female dwarf..... she all of a sudden ...

i have a year old female dwarf..... she all of a sudden developed a good sized lump by her left leg hind leg an seems to be growing very rapidly. She isnt in with any other   hamster living alone since i have had her. do you think it could be a tumor? Sumone told me to start feeding her small bits of tomato once a week ?? Is that a good idea ??

Let me ask you some clarifying questions. When did you notice this lump and where is it exactly by the hind leg? On the foot? by the tail? on the belly? Back?
How big and in what frame of time?
What does it feel like? Hard, soft,
Does it seem to bother the rabbit if you touch it?
Is she just in a cage or does she roam ?
What are you trying to say about a hamster?
