My border collie has pink nose, I have been giving her vtamin E as intstructed by my vet, it does not seem to be getting any better. It gets very red an crusty when she is outside in the sun. Is there anything I can put on her nose while she is outside to help protect it, that will not be harmful to her if she licks it off?

 You can use regular sunscreen that is waterproof like you would use for babies.  Waterbabies works well.
