What is "trich"? How is it transmitted; is it contagious or hereditary? And how can it be treated? It was diagnosed in my 9 week old German Shepherd male puppy. What are the symptoms if any since I did not notice any unusual symptoms in the little tyke. He seemed to be very happy and healthy. I also own 2- 5 year old cats which he has been around. Could they have possibly passed this on to him? They too seem to be quite happy and healthy. I am very worried, I have other dogs-perhaps I should get them all checked out....?
