Hairball & Deep Breathing

I have a 5 year old cat that I just got from a friend a few months ago. She has been trying to get up a hairball for the past 2 days? Should I take her to see a vet? She is not very active and is breathing deep.

Have you tried giving her hairball over the counter treatment?

Is she eating/drinking?
