Question

blood in stool?

Sent to Pet Experts January 02, 2005 12:58 a.m.

I have a 9 week old female Beagle puppy. Very active happy ,good appitite and no other symptoms. Except I have noticed she once in awhile has a couple of small spots of blood in them, when she goes potty. She does not have diareha or any other problems. I am not even sure it is blood. I am A Medical Assistant so I am aware of the tests they have for humans. Is there tests for for puppies? I am concerned. Her urine seems fine, but I know sometimes blood is not always visable to the eye. She seems fine to me but this... Pls. Help, cindy58@sbcglobal.net THANK YOU, CINDY
