my doggy shadows

What does it mean when my Shi Tzu follows me around all day and stares at me all the time, but then there are other members in the family that she doesn't do this to. She will stare at me as if waiting for something and is very patient and is not excited.
I feel like her staring at me that means she may want something but i can't figure it out. she just seems to be content and calm.
