My miniature schnauzer is whiezing and sounds like she is having an asthma attack. What should we do? She started this behavior earlier today but by tonight she really sounds bad. it sound like she is trying to cuagh uo something, she even opens her mouth but nothing is comming out. Also her chest has some noise in it, but not all the time.

I just need a little more information please...

How old is she?

What color are her gums?

Has she ever had this problem before?

Can you try pushing on her trachea and see if that makes her cough?

Does she seem like she can't breathe or can't get oxygen?
