I have a 15 year old westie who has enjoyed excellent health his entire life.(I've had him since he was six weeks old!) In the past several months he has developed this large lump on his face just under his right eye. It swells to where his eye closes. After a few days it goes away completly. Several weeks later it will come back again. This has been going on since we moved to a new home in a new state. It does not appear to hurt him and he lets you touch it with no fuss. He like me to scratch or rub it and will occassionaly rub it against something himself. Is this spome sort of allergic reaction?
