Husky scarring

Sent to Pet Experts November 18 2004 at 7:30 AM

My dog got a cut under her eye when she was bit by another dog. The cut is very small maybe a quarter of an inch long and a sixteenth of an inch wide. It happened a few days ago and it has never bothered her, no scratching or pawing at it. My question is will she be able to grow hair on this part of her face again?

Its hard to say just like its hard to say with people who will scar and who won't. More than likely he won't but there are no guarentee's, only time will tell.
Good Luck!

For what it's worth, our Old English Sheepdog (Abbi), had a deep cut on the back of her leg a year ago. After having her stiched up, hair wouldn't grow back. But, about 10 months later (two months ago), it started to grow back in. So, it may look bad for a while, but it'll work out.
