I have a 12 year old chihuahua with bad tooth decay. What are the neccessary steps to take in order to prevent any complications? Is it a bad idea to ignore the problem? And at the same time, do I have to put this old little guy through anesthesia, etc.? Anything I can do at home? Please help!
