how do i clip duck wings

i have several straight run domestic mallards and khacki cambells that are about 6 months old and i would like to release them onto my pond with my other ducks, but before i do that, i have to clip their wings, and i would like to know how so i dont hurt them, i have done this before, but am a little foggy, your input would be appreciated, along with a diagram if possible
