(Not a Pet Question?)

pet poisoning
Sent to Pet Experts October 18 01:33 PM

My best friend has a 15 year old dauchsaund who has been in excellent health. Her new husband on the other hand had a phsychotic break and has some jealousy factors with her dog and a real hatred of the dog as well. Recently her dog lost weight, got very ill and was put in the hospital. The vet’s answer was kidney failure. Her dog has been on medications, a special diet and gets a daily solution put in subcutaneously. This will continue until the day the dog dies. My question is, for her safety and the dogs, if her husband tried to poison the dog with lets say his prozac, it would have caused her dogs kidneys to fail?
