I have a Shih Tzu who has blisters on the upper and lower eye lids. They some times pop and drain but now they aren't poping or draining. Have you ever run across this problem?

Optional Information:
Age: 1; Male; Breed: Shih Tzu

Already Tried:
Clavomax, Prednizone, Hydrocortizon and warm cloth on the eye for 10 minutes twice a day

These may be cysts of the glands of the eyelid. We will remove these to prevent them from filling up. I use a laser to do them and they rarely have any problems. It takes about 5 minutes to do.

Reply to dr4pets's Post: These have shown up 4 or 5 times and went away. Do you still think that these would be cysts?

Yes, these cysts will drain and get flat again. Then they refill. After a few times they will not drain and will enlarge. That's why we remove them.
