Jake is an 8-year-old Schipperke mix. He has always preferred small, enclosed areas to hide but in the last couple of days he has taken this to a new level. I have had to fight with him to get him off of my foot pedals when I needed them (I am an in-home Medical Transcriptionist) where I used to be able to just shoo him to another location before. Tonight, he woke my son up in the middle of the night while trying to climb onto the shelf where my son keeps his x-box-this is is a little, tiny, skinny shelf that is already occupied-and Jake tried to push his way to curl up not only on this tiny shelf, but behind the x-box! He has also become far more clingy lately. My mom has a separate apartment in our house and is usually great bodies with Jake but now has to push him out and close the door because Jake will not leave her alone. She has taken to calling him "her stalker" in the last couple of days. All family members are noticing this strange behavior. Any ideas?
