i have a horse who just had a colt 2 months ago and the ribs are showing on the horse and the hair is falling out in globs.i brush her it just falls out or i can grab it and it can come right out.could you tell me what is wrong i am a first time horse buyer and also the eyes and nose are runny.

How much are you feeding her? She is severely protein deficient. Tell me all you can. Is the colt nursing? How old is she? What breed?
