I have a seven year old doe pygmy goat as well as 6 other goats. This morning when I went out to clean their pen the 7 year old was trying to "maa" but a normal sound was not coming out. It was as if she lost her voice. I monitered her all morning and she ate and relieved herself as usual. She ran around with the others and grazed in the pasture. She doesn't come easily so I couldn't look down her throat, but as I said she ate and she chewed her cud just fine. Her eyes are a little red and her nose a little runny. Can goats get colds or have allergies? She seems fine, but I worry about her. Could you please let me know what you think?
