I've had my red beta 'Mikey the Fish' for about 2 years. He is usually quiet fiesty and pratically jumps out of the water at feeding time. For the past 3 days he has been spitting out his pellets. He seems very eager to eat as he flaps his fins and points his nose to the water surface. He tries several pellets but just ends up spitting them out. I end up removing the food after a bit to keep the water clean.. Not sure what to do. What do you think is wrong wirh my little buddy?
