I have a 12 year old retreiver/shep mix female. She has some arthritis in her legs making it very difficult for her to get up on anything but a carpet surface. Recently she started emitting an extremely rancid "fishy" odor. She doesn't appear to be urinating on herself. What else could cause such a smell?
