infant cottontail bunnies
Sent to Pet Experts May 10 12:54 AM

We found 6 infant cottontail rabbits today when I was mowing my lawn. We brought them inside our house and put them in a cage. Then we were checking online to see what to feed them and found that the mother had not abandoned them. We were wondering if we put them back into the nest would the mother come back and care for them. The internet said that the mother feeds them at dusk and dawn it is way past dusk here. Should we put them back in the nest or what? We are not sure what to do.
