Yesterday (Thursday) at about noon, one of our blackface ewes gave birth to twins and one was stillborn. We saw some afterbirth at that time. Then at about 11pm when checking on them, she had a mass of what looks like afterbirth hanging from her backside. It is now 12 hours later and it is still hanging there. We were thinking prolapse but don't know what that looks like. Could there be a third baby in there or ? She appears to still be moving around a bit but not much. Have not seen her eat or drink but is letting the live baby feed.
