i have a 1 and a half year old cairn terrier. he just recently started peeing on my bed. not just when im not home but in front of me while im sitting there.he jumps up sniffs and pees right there.why could he be doing this all of a sudden,and what can i do to stop it?

deodorizing the bed,taking him out more,yelling.

If he has not done this before, there is a good chance this is a medical problem. Urinary tract infection or bladder stones are the likely culprits. Either may give him a sudden urge to pee. He is due a trip to the vet.

P.S. Do not let him pee on his way in. They are going to want a urine sample :)
