Sometimes persistant, low grade staph infections result because of an inadequate immune response to it.

There is a product, staph toxoid, that can be given by injection in small doses weekly for several weeks that will stimulate the immune response to resistant staph and give you a chance at getting rid of that, at least, hopefully.

Maintaining a population of normal skin bacteria may be important in keeping staph infections at bay. If you see an increase in the staph, consider stopping the Hexadine.

I hope this is of help..
