We have a siberian husky (14wks old). We got her when she was 10wks old. She is not doing well with housetraining at all. We have decided to crate train her and the synopsis from multiple sources is to let her out to eat, take her out on a leash for ten minutes allow 20min of play, take her back out to go and crate again for 2hours and then repeat. We have always kept her in the crate at night because of obvious reasons, and she does OK with that, but now that we are trying the crate on and off all day, all she does is whine. Do I keep doing this and hope she gets used to it or am I just doing it completely wrong? I try to keep the crate in whatever room we are in, but we have three floors and sometimes she is left upstairs for an hour or so at most. Please someone shed some light, I feel like she hates us for this.
