My Basenji has been eating a lot of grass lately. sometime ...

My Basenji has been eating a lot of grass lately. sometime she vomits other time not. She has always grazed more than other dogs but its more frequent recently .. she will even wake me at night to go out and eat grass.
What might be wrong?
