I have a 5 month old Shiz Zu pug/yorkie poodle mix

I have a 5 month old Shiz Zu pug/yorkie poodle mix puppy and he has been sick today and i was wondering if it is possible for a puppy or dog to get the common cold like humans get? If so, what can i do for him?

Can you describe "sick?" Nasal drainage? Coughing? Other symptoms?

Reply to Tammy Falkner's Post: J J which is his name has spit up twice today and a couple times last week too and i guess he has nasal drainage too because he has been rubbing his face across the floor back and forth
