My dam is due to whelp on the 16th of February. I have been doing routine temperature checks. This morning, her temperature was 98.5 degrees and maintained at the temp for most of the day, telling me that whelping was in the near future. Since then, her temperature has shot up to over 100 degrees and is now maintaining there. Is this normal?? Is whelping immenent?? Please help. Thanks!!
