Hi -the carboniferrous age deposited the ferns which made the oil. At that time, Ohio was under the inland sea -- so, no ferns, -- no oil. However, oil was first discovered in Pennsylvania -- which should have been under water. So -- did the Pennsylvania oil get deposited from something else? -- and earlier/later?Thanks --tom
