I have a Walker Hound that I fostered and came back to me after 5 months, the owners said he barks and jumped the fence, well he is a Walker Hound, they did no training on him while he was with them. He has some aggressive traits, food/crate aggresive. I also took him to the dog park today with a friend and he did just fine, he has been there before well, there was an un-neutered male that kept on humping him well he didnt like that he lashed back I put him on the leash sfter the first time, and the lab kept coming after him, and he went off going after him and the owner just stood and watched my friend grabbed the dog but he was so big he got away from her. his teeth were showing big time and he nipped me(my dog) on the hand. I know I cannot fault him but so much, but what can I do? I have 3 other dogs and a foster puppy here and he is fine. I also have a shock collar which has worked some what. Do you think it would have worked at the dog park? it is set on 6 out of 8. Please any help would be appreciated, I love my Woody, and I know he had not been socialized, they had him strictly outdoors. Thanks for your time, Debbie in Richmond, Virginia
