Chameleons change color depending on mood and environmental temperature.

Does he have any swelling in his joints or around his mouth?

When was the last time he had a bowel movement?

What temp do you keep his enclosure at?

What do you feed him?

Does he have any discharge from his nose, eyes, or mouth?

Weight loss?

Are you providing full spectrum lighting and calcium supplements?

How often are you handling him?

Dark color is often a sign of stress due to something in the environment, too cold, or sick.
