Question

young horse has blood in urine

I have 2 young studs in a pen together one is a year old the other one is 18 months. I dont't know which one it is but one of them has blood in his urine, noticed it in a opuddle on the ground could you give me some idea what can cause this?

just perhaps a uninary infection is not much of an answer. I have done farther reserch and found out it is not blood but a natural color of a horses urine, only notice but a layman when it snows or is found in a water puddle that hasn`t socked into the ground, which is what we done seen it in a water puddle in the mud, thanks anyway
