my chinese crested is on her th day of her heat cycle and

My chinese crested is on her 10th day of her heat cycle and the male has been with her now going on the second day and still nothing? What could be the problem? Thank you

Already Tried:
just left them be together now 2 days and all the do is play and sleep

She isn't ready yet. The 11th day is usually the earliest and it is generally a few days after that. He will let you know when the time is right. She will seem very interested a day or two before she ovulates and he may or may not show interest. However, if he is a normal healthy male he will know when the time is right.

do they still breed while they have a bloody discharge? ive always been told 10 days after? my poor male has tried several times, but she will either sitdown or snap at hime?thank you

Reply to Joni's Post: he has tried several times, but she will either sit or snap at him. Ive always been told the 10th day and beyond is the best. Im a lil confused to as why she wont let him. I know you say she isnt ready, but she seems to do all but actually let him . They play, they smell each other and than he tries, but its always a no! Thank you
